Commissioner Tim Brown Vice-President of Ohio County Commissioners Association.

Columbus, Ohio ---  Tim Brown, Wood County Commissioner, was elected Vice-President of the Ohio County Commissioners Association by his colleagues from across Ohio.  The election was held at the Commissioners annual winter conference in Columbus.  Commissioner Brown has served on the Board the past three years and has been the Chairman of the Association’s Legislative Committee as well.  Incoming President Deborah Lieberman of Montgomery County also appointed Commissioner Brown to Chair the Commissioners & Sheriffs’ Task Force and serve on the Joint Committee on Administration of Elections.  “I am honored by the trust placed in me by my colleagues around Ohio.  Our State continues to face many challenges and a very difficult economy.   I look forward to continue working in a bipartisan approach with my colleagues to make Ohio a great job producing State again.  Growing jobs for our citizens and turning around Ohio’s economy is job one and I am looking forward to the task.   We must also be open to new and innovative ideas for how state and local government operates.  I look forward to the challenge my election to this leadership position will provide.  Working together in cooperation with each other around Ohio we will succeed. ” Mr. Brown said.
